North of the 60th Parallel
Why do we ship so much Clenzoil "Field & Range" to such forbidding places….because that's where "the big boys roam!" Although it's not always just about the "trophy," sometimes it's about the experience. Hunting in subzero temperatures can enhance the whole hunt, or maybe it's the only place you can find that world class bear or caribou, or maybe due to unforeseen circumstances, it's a matter of survival…..yours.

Whatever the reason, hunters north of the 60th parallel know there is only one product they can depend on to keep their weapon fully functional in places even their watches stop working….Clenzoil Field & Range. With no water, no Teflon and no silicone as an ingredient, that means no snotty or gummy sticking of firing pins, bolts or triggers. In short….it means BANG instead of CLICK!

Famous hunter Robert C. Ruark once stated, "…the most deafening sound one may ever hear is the quiet little click of a frozen or jammed lock work, while staring down a huge Bruin or Cape Buff... .it may also be one of the last things you ever hear."

The Pointing Dog Journal - January/February, 2000

Clenzoil shouldn't work the way it does. There shouldn't be something that you put on the metal parts of a shotgun that also works on the wood. We've always tried to keep the oil out and off of wood because it can rot. Not with this stuff. We know; we've used it.

Clenzoil, it seems, has been around forever - since 1948 (our apologies to all our readers who have been around longer: we didn't really mean forever). It removes built-up gum and powder residue and bits of grit from sort-of burned powder, and puts a sheen back in the wood. It even works on leather. It's pretty watery, so a little goes a long way. And the big plastic bottle it comes in looks like enough to oil maybe 30,000 guns! The oil doesn't build up, and it keeps the metal parts working smoothly; and, the company says, it "absolutely prevents rust."

Guns Magazine - March, 2000

Clenzoil's Field & Range lubricant is designed to offer the ultimate in protection. An application of Field & Range effectively removes built-up oils, dirt and other contaminants. A subsequent application after use protects the firearms from rust and preserves its cleanliness until the next usage. Gun owners and sportsmen have found Field & Range to be an excellent protectant and conditioner for fine leather slings, holster, scabbards, wood stocks, grips and forearms.
